Funks Grove

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak the church is only open by appointment, but the grounds are open as usual 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 1/2 hour before dark. We are also limited on the amount of people that can attend a service here. The guidelines are as follows - phase 3 we can only allow 10 or less people and use of the outdoor chapel only, phase 4 we can only allow 50 or less people and we can use the outdoor chapel or the church. We are currently in the bridge phase which raises our maximum capacity to 100 and hopefully we will soon enter Phase 5 which will put us back to full capacity of 200. We would also appreciate people following the State of Illinois guidelines on wearing masks inside of the church.

Thank you for understanding.
Funks Grove's Little White Church

"With simple dignity, Funk's Grove Church welcomes families of all faiths.

Isaac Funk and Robert Stubblefield, with the help of their sons, erected this house of worship in 1864-65.  Prior to its construction, services were held in the family's homes or in a log school building nearby."
